What is a aptitude assessment?
Some degree programs have specific requirements that are assessed as part of an aptitude assessment procedure. This procedure is carried out by a committee from the faculty offering the degree program. The deadlines and dates can be found below. Further information is published on the websites of the respective degree programs.

Most important steps:
- Set up a user account in CampusOnline. If you are a student at the University of Bayreuth, please use your students account. If you are a former student of the Uniniversity of Bayreuth, please make sure contact us by e-mail before singing up for a new user account.
- Complete your application for the chosen programme of study and upload all required documents.
- Please note: The application must be received online by the University of Bayreuth by 15 July.
All required documents must also be uploaded by 15 July. The application can only be processed if all required documents have been received by the University of Bayreuth before the deadline. - If the allowed document size is exceeded, you can adjust the pdf size via the following portals http://www.ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf or https://en.pdf24.org/.
- The self-service section of CAMPUSonline provides information on the status of your application. If anything is unclear, you will be contacted by e-mail. Please check your e-mails regularly during this time (including your spam folder).
- Following the aptitude assessment process, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of the outcome. At the same time, a printout of your letter of acceptance or rejection will be made available for download via the self-service section of CampusOnline.
- Once you have been admitted, the admission letter will be available for download in CampusOnline. After accepting your study palce offer, you can continue with the enrolment process. If during the review of your documents, it is determined that your admission was based on incorrect application information, you will not be able to enrol.
