Application & Enrolment
To study at the University of Bayreuth, you need a general or a relevant, subject-related higher education entrance qualification. In some cases you will still have to take an aptitude test, or additional practical knowledge or vocational training might be required. Studying without A-levels
At the University of Bayreuth it is also possible to start a course of study without school certification to attend a tertiary institution (A-levels, advanced technical college certificate, or subject-related higher education entrance qualification). Since the 2009/10 winter semester, master craftsmen and women have received general university entrance qualifications, while those with professional qualifications have subject-specific access to higher education. ...more
Guest & Early Studies
Guest students can be enrolled at the University of Bayreuth to attend individual courses upon request. In addition, particularly gifted students may be admitted to courses as guest students in individual cases. This allows students to complete their course and examinations and earn credit points that can be accredited towards a later course of studies. ...more
