Summary of the most important steps:

  • Set up a user account. Students who are already enrolled at the University of Bayreuth should use their current student account to apply via CAMPUSonline. If you have already studied at the University of Bayreuth in the past, contact us by e-mail.

  • Complete your application for the chosen programme of study.Please note: Your application must reach the University of Bayreuth online by midnight. The application can only be processed if the documents have been received by the University of Bayreuth by the deadline.

  • Then upload your documents. You can do this when you enter your application or afterwards in the self-service area.If the allowed document size is exceeded, the following portals can be used to upload the documents https://www.ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf and https://www.pdf24.org/en/ to adjust the pdf size.

  • The Self-Service section of CAMPUSonline provides information on the status of your application. If anything is unclear, you will be contacted by e-mail. Please check your e-mails regularly during this time (including your spam folder).

  • Following the aptitude assessment process, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of the outcome. At the same time, a printout of your letter of acceptance or rejection will be made available for download via the Self-Service" section of CAMPUSonline. Once you have accepted your place, you can continue with the enrollment process.

  • If it is discovered that you were granted admission on the basis of false statements in your application, you will not be able to enrol.
