Enrolment at the University of Bayreuth

Most important steps:
- Please set up a user account in CAMPUSonline. Please note the enrolment periods below.
- Complete your application for the chosen programme of study.
- You will then be directed to Self-Service where you can accept your study place. You will then find the application form for enrolment, which you can download and print out. Please submit your enrolment documents by post including the enrolment form itself.
- Please take note of the information on evidence of health insurance coverage for students (see No.1).
Once you have enrolled successfully, you will receive an e-mail containing all the information for your student account (username and PIN). You will then be able to print out a certificate of enrolment.
You will receive your student ID card once your enrolment has been completed.

General information for winter semester 2024/25
Enrolment for undergraduate degree programmes (Bachelor & State Examination)
- without aptitude assessment process or admission restriction: 15 April - 26 September 2024
- with aptitude assessment process: enrolemnt deadline 26 September 2024
- with restricted admission: enrolment period is announced during the admission procedure.
Enrolment for Master's programmes
- Admission is required for enrolment (see application for Master's programmes)
- Enrolment deadline 26 September 2024.
Enrolment for doctural studies programmes
- Enrolment for doctoral studies is possible until the end of winter semester 2024/25 on 31 March 2025.
Please note that the lecture period starts on 14 October 2024. Late enrolment will be accepted until 11 November 2024. The University of Bayreuth will not be responsible for any negative consequences of late enrolment.
Enrolment may be conducted by a third party authorised in writing to do so.
