Degree Students

I would like to study at the University of Bayreuth. What do I have to do?

We are delighted that you are interested in studying at our GreenCampus. To study at the University of Bayreuth, prospective international students - even for degree programmes without admission restrictions - must first have their educational qualifications and language certificates checked. This is done as part of the application process.

If you fulfil all the admission requirements for the desired degree programme, you will be notified by email that you have been offered a place and will receive a letter of admission. Applicants who require a residence permit for their studies in Germany must submit the letter of admission when applying for a visa. Once you have accepted the study place offer via the portal, you can download the application for enrolment and complete the enrolment process.

Still not sure which degree programme is right for you or suitable based on your previous qualifications?
